blue horizon, a global impact investment firm, has invested in the plant-based food company Alpha Foods. With this investment, blue horizon will help the company realize its vision of a plant-based future.
Alpha Foods produces convenient and delicious meatless dishes that will change the way the world thinks about food. With over a combined 35 years of experience and knowhow in the food industry, the Alpha Foods team understands food trends and customer needs. Now more than ever, customers are seeking meatless alternatives to traditional meals, and Alpha Foods meets this need.
The company’s products are all 100% plant-based, free of GMOs and sustainably made. Their ever-expanding line of products includes burritos, burgers, hot dogs, “meat” balls, and sausage, among other offerings. In addition, Alpha Foods offers recipes inspired by gourmet chefs so consumers can easily make tasty and nutritious meatless meals.
With this range of convenient and tasty meatless alternatives, Alpha Foods is introducing meat eaters to a plant-based diet, showing that you don’t have to sacrifice taste and pleasure when going meatless. Alpha Foods was founded by Cole Orobetz and Loren Wallis. Cole Orobetz, co-founder and CFO, is a certified accountant who founded his first company at the age of 18. As this company was built around the use of recycled plastic, he has always had a concern for the environment as well as an entrepreneurial spirit.

Loren Wallis, the CEO and Co-founder of Alpha Foods, comes with over 20 years of experience in the plant-based food industry. Formerly the CEO of dairy-free beverage company Good Karma Foods, he is now furthering the mission to create a plant-based future with Alpha Foods.
